🏁 The Budapest Marathon course is a single loop of 42.195 km that crosses the most emblematic sites of the Hungarian capital. The start is given from the ELTE University, then the runners travel along the Danube, crossing several historic bridges such as the Chain Bridge (Széchenyi Lánchíd). The route passes through major monuments such as Buda Castle, St. Stephen's Basilica, the Hungarian National Opera and Andrássy Avenue. The course offers breathtaking views of the Hungarian Parliament and the Fishermen's Bastion. Participants cross the finish line at the same point as the start, completing a picturesque loop through the city.
